morning routine
During the constant lockdowns in Ontario during the Covid-19 pandemic, I quickly had to create a routine each day in order to stay sane. With a husband working full time from home, my sons and I were in constant search of outdoor space that was quiet and safe for us to roam free. The shale and sandy shores of Sandbanks Provincial Park quickly became part of our morning routine, offering us space to roam and fresh air to breathe. Although mentally draining at the time, I will forever cherish those mornings alone with my little boys, using nature as our classroom and the sunlight as our alarm clock.
